Blemished But Beautiful Notable Women In The Bible

A few months ago Chellbee, the blogger behind, asked me how I felt about partnering on a Bible study series. I was thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate on a Bible study for women looking to deepen their faith and strengthen their walk with Christ. So I happily said, yes!

After some brainstorming, we decided on our topic: Blemished But Beautiful Notable Women in The Bible. Just a few years prior, Chellbee created a Blemished But Beautiful journal, which reinforces characteristics and teachings that uplift women. With this Bible study series, our aim is similar. We’re discussing noteworthy Biblical women, their lives, and godly habits.

Having faith is half the battle, walking out your faith is the other. God is holy and He has called us to a holy existence. That doesn’t mean we’ll be perfect and without error but that we’d seek His face, holiness is the result of that. Spiritual growth takes endurance and tenacious watering of our relationship with Christ. The women we’re highlighting (Leah, Rachel, Ruth, Queen Esther, The Woman who bled for 12 years, Deborah, Hannah, and Abigail) are remembered thousands of years later because of their relationship with God. They weren’t all blemish less but God was able to use them.

This free Bible Study series encourages women of all walks of life to draw nearer to God through the excavation of the tales of other women, whose faith impacted history.
